Spring 2011

The Wm. J. MIlls & Co. Vintage Series totes and Cargo bags are examined by Two Inch Cuffs for their Spring 2011 "Look Book".

Fashioned after the original duffel bag Mr. Mills made for himself in the early 1950's, the Vintage Series is a definite return to our roots. We still use the same heavy duck canvas that we have sourced from our supplier since 1930. Available in a full pallet of body and trim colors these bags pop with color. But these bags aren't just another "pretty face". They are built to last. Heavy canvas on canvas straps are cut and sewn by our own master sewers. They wrap around the body of the bag so that the full load is supported. These handle straps will not pull away from the bag. The stitching is super strong. So strong, in fact, that we use the Vintage Series bags to produce our "VIntage Stonewashed Series". I don't know of any bag that can survive stonewashed like a Mills Bag. Like all of our Totes and Cargo bags in the Vintage Series, these bags have a convenient zippered security pouch inside to keep the small things that are important to you.

All of our products are designed, cut and sewn in Greenport, LI, NY in our sail loft. We have been making sails (and other things) in Greenport since 1880 under the ownership (and leadership) of the Mills family.

As is our custom with all new releases, we don't offer these bags on our website. They are only available at retail stores around the world. Ask your favorite clothing store if they have bags from Wm. J. MIlls & Co. or go to our website at  www.millscanvas.com to see our stock-list.
